My Inner self (MAN)
I do some thing with whole-heartedly. In other words with full devotion or will. Such work always gives good result. But sometime my inner-self is divided. I become doubtful, wether to do it or not. In that situation my action's results also become doubtful. In life such situation comes several times. And on such occasions, fruits of my actions are usually negative.
Our saints say that you can control your inner-self. It is true also, but for an ordinary person like me it is difficult. We are unaware of future. One step can lead you towards failure and another can lead you towards success. On such circumstances my inner-self is always divided. But I dicovered one solution for such situations. I start praying vigorously, If I am able to do it with intensity, results turn favourable.
Further I am going to say something, which may appear ridiculous to others. To strengthen inner-self I try to practice on Concentration. Though it is difficult for a trivial person like me, but I try. If I would have met Sad-Guru, like Sainath, I must have solved my problem. But alas, in this matter I am an orphan. There is a little time left for me to get some success in this field. Death is approaching me. But I pray to Lord Sai to give me some success in this direction. After all I am His daughter.

Value of Words.
I don't intend to praise myself. But I try to keep my words. As I am very credulous by nature, I always do this mistake of believing on words of my friends. If they don't keep their words, I get a set-back. There are so many options to express yourself, if you fail to keep your words. Truth is the best way to say your situation or circumstances, if you are unable to keep your words. Sincerity always helps to avoid mis-understanding. Even if some one determines to mis-understand you, let him/her think according to their temperament.
Trully I am not a strict idealistic person. I developed sensitivity with effort. I know and feel prick of a needle in my finger with same intensity, it hurts some one else.
I am impressed by Paramhans's words. " If I say that I have to go for toilet, I must go, even if I don't feel to go." He is God Incarnate, right, but we can atleast try to keep our words. I am of confirmed view that this increases our mental strengh and make more powerful. We are lucky enough to have human- form in present birth. Why not utilise this birth by trying all these trivial practices.

My Satisfaction.
Then a chance appeared. I had to get me checked thoroughly before departing for USA. I went to a ophthalmologist, Dr Seema Lad, who is an eye surgeon at CHL Apollo, Indore. She told me that cataract is developed in my right eye. But it is in initial stage and there is no urgency for surgery. It can be postponed till I return from USA.
I came back to India on 28th July 2010. I had to go to Pune & then to Rewa in the month of September. So I kept quiet till September. In between I enquired about best eye surgeons of Indore. My well-wishers told about some surgeons. I & Navin decided to go to Dr. Chaudhari's clinic. It is Rajas Eye Hospital at kanchan Bagh, Indore. Navin first went there and got full information. He took me there on 30th Sep and doctor checked my eyes. The date of my surgery is decided 2nd October. In the mean time Shekhar told me that he has taken medical insurance for me also. He asked to wait till all formalities are fulfilled. We thought that it is the matter of twenty thousands, which can be saved. In this way my surgery would be done cashless. I waited for five days and ultimately approval from Insurance company came by Fax. On 8th October, that is Ch. Aadya's birthday also, my eye surgery was done. All the time I was remembering Lord Sainath. I requested Him to do it Himself, because He is the Surgeon of surgeons.
I had employed a cook before hand. It is Shashi Mishra, who helped in providing this fairly good cook.
Navin is also doing his best to give me rest. He is encouraging me to follow all precautions prescribed by doctor. Thus my recovery is good. Thanks to Sainath. Please Sai look after me always.

My last Travelogue.
My important visit to Boston began at 2.00 p.m. on 16.07.10. We reached Marlborough, where Ch. Madhup and Neha reside. These days my brother Ratan and his wife Pushpa have come to their son's house from India. We reached at 8.30 p.m. and everyone was eagerly waiting for us. We had good dinner and slept well in the night.
The next morning we set for Boston after heavy breakfast. Boston is thirty miles away from Marlborough. We took Trolley for city view. Our site-seeing tour was very satisfying, because its driver-cum-guide was excellent in his description. This tour included free Boston Harbor Cruise. We enjoyed a forty five minutes site-seeing cruise with panoramic views of Boston city.
Our Trolley Stops were about fifteen, but we alighted at only five Stops. These were --Old State House Museum, Copley Square/Back Bay, Trinity Church, Copley Place mall Cambridge/MIT/Harvard and Beacon Hills' Boston Common. First we saw Massachusetts Institute of Technology minutely and sensed its magnanimity. We closely observed its class-rooms and campus. Then we went from Red line Subway to Harvard Square. We reached Harvard University Campus. It was good experience to travel in Subway Train. Our Cruise journey was very pleasant. We returned home and took evening tea with tasty cutlets. Our dinner prepared by Pushpa & Neha was also wonderful.
Next morning we all ( eight of us) set for sightseeing near Marlborough. We went to Laxmi temple and Hopkinton State Park. This park is very huge and river beside it gives a cool look. We took our lunch at as Indian Restaurant. Its Jalebi was good. Here we parted from Ratan's family and set for Concord.
Ch.Saurabh drove us to The Old Manse, Concord, Massachusetts. It is the house of Ralph Waldo Emerson, who drafted his essay " Nature"while living here. Navin's doctorate is on Nathaniel Hawthorne, who wrote a number of stories while living at The Old Manse in 1940s. The landscape Hawthorne describes is recognizable today. Henry David Thoreau's vegetable garden planted in 1842 as a wedding gift to the Hawthorns, has been restored in the same location. The Concord River still flows serenely past The manse and under the famous North Bridge. It was a guided house tour that tells the story of manse, beginning in 1770.
We came back home in the evening. I liked my Boston trip and want to give hearty thanks to Nutan, Saurabh and Ratan's family.
One notable point about USA is that here we find no " Presswala". Everyone has to iron one's clothes and you will press table with iron machine in each house & hotel.
Our very pleasant and happy USA sojourn is coming to an end. This has been a life-time experience both for me and my husband. Before taking the flight for Delhi from Newark Airport on the evening of 27th July we will visit Shree Sai Nath temple in New York on "Guru Poornima" on Sunday, 25th July to thank Baba for all that He has given us and to pray for the fulfillment of the wishes of my loving children, Sai Namah.

My US Visit
Dear All. hello. This an brief account of my US trip, which is still continuing.
Lord Sai ! You are great. You arranged my trip to USA through Ch. Saurabh & Sow. Nutan. Both are very enthusiastic in inviting me and Papa. Unless they called us, we wouldn't have come here. It is true that it is life time achievement to see America, a totally different place from India. At this age Lord Sai's grace is like a miracle for me. I don't know how long I will live, but having such pleasure, arranged by Nutan & Saurabh is a dream for me.
We visited Durga Mandir on 28th May near by Roosevelt Park and Malls during week days. They take care of us minutely.
We came here on 24th May. Almost every day we went for outings, after Saurabh had come home from office. I wonder that he takes us for outings without any grudge. Better say, always he keeps smiling.
As Saurabh had holidays for three days from 29 to 31 and Nutan & Shekhar's birthday falls on 29th May, they had planned it in minutest detail.
We set for Statue Of Liberty at 11.30 in the morning. We all went by a Ferry on that particular island, where it is situated. It is really very huge and gorgeous statue. We enjoyed our ride in a Ferry. We came back by 5.00 p.m.. After taking rest we again left for New York. We ( Saurabh, Nutan, Shekhar, Navin and me) took very elaborate dinner at "Vatan" , an Indian restaurant, where Saurabh & Nutan had advance booking. After taking dinner we left for Empire Estate. We had to purchase tickets $ 20.00 for each person. To get into lift was a very long process. So it took us two long hours to get into it. We were too tired. But after reaching on top floor (87th), we were over-whelmed to see the whole view of New York. from such height.
Then went to World Trade Center.
I do want to say that we passed through Holland Tunnel & Lincoln Tunnel on Hudson river, which were very long.
Then enjoyed at:--1- Wall Street, 2- NY Stock Exchange NASDAQ, 3- South Sea Port ( East River) 4-Brooklyn Bridge, 5-Central Park 6-Times Square, 7-Grand Central Wee haw-ken ( New York Skyline Million Dollar View). In the last we dined at a Mexican Restaurant, Chipotle.
On 31st we enjoyed a lot on 8-Sandy Hook Beach, NJ on Atlantic Ocean.
Till now enjoyed in the above manner. It is bit long description, But please try to share my pleasure at my daughter & son-in law's home.
With best wishes, yous --Shailbala Misra.

My Account (2) On My US Trip.
On 04, 05.10 we went to Sai temple at Iseling, near Edison . A Shirdi like huge marble statue of Sai is installed in it. As it was Thursday, the big hall was filled with devotees. We attended Arti at 8.00 p.m. and then sang Sai-Bavani before Sai. Arrangements for Prasad were systematic. A serene & peaceful atmosphere impressed me. I think that at Empire Estate, officials should have more facilities to visitors, especially to senior citizens. There were no arrangements for rest & drinking water and there was no complaint book.
My morning walk & Panayam continue here also. Nutan tries to give me total comfort & rest, which I am enjoying here.
On 05.05.10 we went to Wood Bridge Mall, which ten times bigger than Treasure Insland at Indore . After that we went to Walmart departmental store. We did shopping in both the malls.
On Saturday, 06.05.10 Ch. Saurabh took us to Princeton University , Princeton , NJ . Its awesome campus is spread over miles. Every building is different in architecture. The whole surrounding is huge. A serene atmosphere prevails there. There is a big market, run by its students, in the campus. It is a renowned University in the whole world.
I noticed two distinct qualities of USA . First, each building is surrounded by forest, say dense forest. Another noticeable point is that the sun rises at 5.15 a.m. in the morning and sets at about 9.00 in the evening. I wonder that the sun shines at 8.30 p.m. One thing more vegetables here are of very big size.
Same day Nutan prepared a Mexican dish for dinner. Its name is Enchilada. I liked it very much.
We started for California on 09.05.10 at 05 in the morning. Our flight was scheduled from Newark to San Francisco . The distance is more than 2600 miles and flight is of 6 hours duration. We reached there in time. Ch. Dev was there to receive us. Navin & I were touched by Kshama & Dev’s cordial welcome. No one can remain un-influenced by their palatial home, where all possible luxuries were present to give us every comfort. They took us for city ride of Walnut Creek in the evening.
Next day both of them drove us for Berkeley & Sausalito . We passed through famous Golden Gate Bridge . We drove on top of Caldecott Tunnel and Tilden Park .
I loved visit to Muir Woods National Monument , 12 miles north of Golden Gate Bridge . Redwood like trees covered much of Northern Hemisphere 150 million years ago. It is a remnant of ancient coast redwood forests that blanketed many northern California coastal valleys before the 1800s.
At San Francisco we visited Stepson Beach overlooking Trans America Bridge , Ghirardelli Square , Fisherman’s Wharf and Ferry Bridge . We had lunch at Horizon Restaurant in Sausalito . This restaurant is situated on the waters of the bay of Pacific Ocean . Then we went to China town and Union Square . Shekhar joined us at this place. We all went to Tanuja’s house in Infinity building. Lastly we all had dinner at Amber Indian Restaurant.
On 11th June we left for a flight to Burbank ( Hollywood ). We went to Universal Studio. There we took study tour. We visited whole studio on a Trolley. I learnt that each & every scene is arranged artificially. There we saw Water Wars show and a 4D film. All facades ( sets) are almost perfect and look real.
We look flight to Las Vegas , reached LV by 7.10 p.m. Here Kshama joined us. We checked in the Hotel Venetian. We visited some hotels of different themes, like Italian Hotel, Caesar’s Palace, Mirage Hotel and Paris Hotel etc. Their designs are just marvelous. Flowers, chandeliers and fittings are beyond description. The artistic themes of all hotels are awesome. Only seeing is believable. The show ”O” was marvelous & super.
On June 14th tour to Napa Valleys Wineries was conducted. Ms Kamlesh took us to mainly two wineries; Robert Mondovi and Peju Wineries. We not only visited there, but saw its process. Thus we enjoyed a lot.
Guddi & Dev invited their guests- Singhs & Mrs Mathur for dinner. Chicken prepared by Kirti was very tasty. We came back to dear Nutan with no storms of tears on 15th June. We were back with just smiles.
Our trip to California was well arranged by Mr. Dev, President & CEO of a big company. Though Guddi & Dev were not in perfect health and shape, they took pains to take us to all important places nearby. They planned a compact & integrated program in a limited time frame for our sake. We are over-whelmed by Dev & Kshama’s hospitality. We could never have done such wonderful sight-seeing without them. We are indebted to them for this. We met Tanuja & Anjali. Both Daughters are very caring and loving. We love their company.
In the warm water of swimming pool in the back of Dev’s house, we spent a memorable evening. We remained in the water for more than two hours watching the beautiful scene of sun-set.
Bow to Lord Sai, who made these arrangements for us through amazing Dev and Kshama, very lovable persons.
On our Wedding day i.e. 18th June Saurabh took us to a Hindu Samaj Mandir at Mahwah. It is very good temple, All our deities’ marble idols along with Lord Sai were installed. I am happy the Sai was present there to bless us. We took our dinner at a Japanese Mount Fuji Restaurant, where Hibachi style food was served. They sang song with a burning candle.
I & Navin will visit Washington DC , Niagara Falls , Virginia and Boston in near future. My last account of this trip will be finished after these trips.
The above is though a bit long narration, but it is my expression of my pleasure and happiness. Please spare some time to read it.
My US Trip 3
On Saturday, 26.06.10 we went to a Shree Krishna Temple at Braj at Pennsylvania . It is built on the line of Nath Dwara, Rajasthan , India . It is a huge temple. They have built Gowardhan Hillock, where facades of wild animals & cows are placed. there is a lake on one side of the temple campus. They serve lunch as Prasad.
Next we went to Bear Mount, which is in New York State . The awesome view of surroundings at the top of mountain is very impressive. We and families of Saurabh’s three friends had gone there for picnic. We remained at this park on Bear Mountain . There were many persons for picnicking. Many of them were cooking their food. But each family in our group had brought soft drinks, sandwiches, cakes etc. Nutan had prepared a Gujrati dish made of buns. We ate our vivid lunch there and then went for rowing on the boat in the lake. Mainly Saurabh did rowing, but Nutan & Navin also rowed for some time. We returned at 6.00 p.m.
I purchased magnetic Alarm Clocks and magnetic photo frames for each of my kids in India on 29th June. I wished happy birthday to Papa, my younger sister-Kalpana.
I like so many things in America , but there are two major minus points, which can’t be ignored. First—ninety percent persons here are suffering from allergies of different kinds. Secondly I see lack of spiritual atmosphere. Here people are too much engrossed in worldliness, materialism & sensuous pleasures. No one, neither young nor old ponder upon the other aspect of life. Concentration on the Infinite is unthinkable for them. They don’t think that yoga or strong will power can be strong medium for good health and peace of mind. Too much pills are only source of one or other physical and mental problems. They don’t believe in morning walk, yoga & intense prayer. They take junk food. Late-night enjoyments, non-vegetarian food and sensual pleasures are their favourite. They will take pills for every problem. They are very far from naturopathy. These reasons are of cause of depression, desperation & unhappiness in life. They should follow India in this matter. In short I want to say that Americans worship dollars i.e. money. Their materialistic attitude can never help in giving them peace of mind.
On 03.06.10 we set for Niagara Falls . We reached Buffalo , New York in the noon and stayed at Hotel Marriott, Buffalo for two days. This hotel is full of comforts and luxuries. I appreciate Maid of Midst. Aptly named, this world famous boat journey embarks from the base of the observation Tower at Prospect Point for a round trip into the following waters beneath American and Horseshoe Falls .
We were aboard Niagara Falls Scenic Trolley, which is environmentally friendly Trolley and enjoyed an over-view of the park in half an hour with a knowledgeable guide. We got off at Horse Shoe Falls attractions. We enjoyed and came closer to this legendary force of nature for an experience, we can never forget.
We went again in the night to the Falls and enjoyed its colorful lights and fire-works. It was awesome and amazing. It was so beautiful and gorgeous that its description is beyond expression. The huge crowd was well-managed and disciplined.
Niagara Falls Facts.
The massive volume of water of Falls flow over the Horse Shoe Falls that gives it its green color. From the Falls the water travels down the Niagara river to Lake Ontario ; then to the St. Laurence river and finally to the Atlantic Ocean .
We returned home by 6.00 p.m. As 5th July is Ch. Saurabh’s birthday we went for dinner to a Chinese Restaurant—PF Chang’s. We ate Chinese cuisine for the first time. its Lettuce Wrap is a new experience to eat. They served a special type of eatable thing in the last, in which a lucky strip was put in it, in which lines of good wishes were written. Thus whole day was spent in good mood.
Our next visit was for Washington DC On 10.06.10 we set for Washington DC at 7.00 a.m. We first went to Bipin’s house. He & Indira gave warm welcome and served good lunch, which included vegetarian dishes and non-vegetarian dishes. We were five persons—Saurabh, Nutan, Shekhar, Navin & me.
From there we went to Washington DC . There we saw White House, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Korean War Memorial and Capitol Hill etc. We enjoyed wonderful straight view of National Mall from Lincoln Memorial to Capitol Hill. In the end we left Shekhar at his Hotel and returned home at 12.00 in the night. On way to home we took our dinner at Taco Bell and ate a Mexican dish called Chalupa.

Balance Between Spirituality & Materialism.
But I live in my family and amidst society. I have to perform my duties towards my kids and persons close to me. I find it very difficult to coop with this situation.
When during youth I was too much busy in my duties, I used to console myself that I will have enough time for God in my old age. Now I am 67. I can't find much time for Namjab.
It is sure I will continuously try to balance my preferences and find time for my Lord Sainath.
And He will help me in Namjap.

Work Is Worship
We are second in growing population in the world. Our work capacity is enormous, but due to laziness all our growth is not up to the mark. Hard work will minimize corruption in our country.
I appeal to all parents that they must teach and give atmosphere of hard work to their children. This is the best way of showing patriotism. we owe to our mother land and can pay our debt in this way.

Destiny Of A Person.
A person is born in this world without his/her choice. The environment one gets, it leaves lasting effect on oneself. One educationist claims that give me a child, I will make him/her whatever I want him/her to be. I believe in this philosophy. But genetic effect can't be totally ignored. I know a person, who is very idealistic. Idealism is in his blood. Since childhood speeches of religious persons leave lasting effect on him. He tries to behave in the manner, which is not possible in this world. One thing more for such person that he must be fearless, which he is not. He is afraid of every thing, such as other persons, society and unknown future. If he is not bold enough to face adverse situation, how can he be happy with so high idealistic views. As far as he is concerned about his behaviour, he cares for morality & principles of high order, but the persons around him may not be up to the mark according to his ideas. But he neither changes them according to them nor change himself according to them. This is the main problem, which makes him restless.

Peace of Mind.
I learn that one can be calmed down by practicing some Asans of Yoga. So I do regularly seven Prarayam in the morning, which give me pleasure for that period.
My most of the time goes in planning for daily activities. I read any book of my interest daily, but I am not a cool person.
I think that peace can't be purchased. From where I can get this peace? I like hearing speeches of saints. But not have come in contact with any genuine religious person till now. May I meet any such saint, who can provide me peace of mind. But again I am not going to hunt for such person. I will be very lucky, if I meet with a person of strong mental ability by God's grace.

Lover Of Solitude.
But we are social animals. We need society for our mental health. We cant ignore other persons around us. Spending some time with persons of your choice provides relief, solace and happiness. Socialising to some extent makes you a sensitive person. I can't avoid other persons saying that others are not fit for me to talk or meet. You are not above all. If it is very necessary to spend some time in solitude, spending some time with some human-beings are also very necessary for mental health.
In my opinion a person totally avoids to meet other fellow persons is not a normal or mentally healthy person. It shows his/her egoism to a dangerous level. So please be social to some extent for your mental health.

My Views.
1--Religiosity is a purely personal matter. Why do people call some professional party to sing religious songs to sing with huge loud speakers?
You will not gain any merit by showing off your religiosity in this manner.
2-- God pleases with your trivial acts of service for needy persons.
3--Your sweet words will sooth an uneasy heart and this should be practiced.
4--Honest dealings & hard work must be worshipped.
5-- Faith only in Almighty gives strength to live, otherwise this world is not the place to live.
6-- Every one should study History subject, which generates patriotism in a person.
7--You bring up your kids for your pleasure. Expectations make you small.
8-- Our younger generation is hard working.
9--They should be introduced with current problems of our nation.
10--Our media can do great work in public awareness.
All views are written through my experience, though they may sound as high philosophy.

Views On Different topics.
1-- Corruption must be rooted out from our system through strong will power of public.
2-- Not only literacy level should be raised, mass education should be taken by rich industrial house & NGOs.
3-- Cleanliness is the main hindrance in improving public health. Cleanliness is Godliness. Print media & electronic media should play its good role in improving of people's habit.
School education should include regular excursions in their curriculum. Imparting instruction only through audio means can never clear perception of our young students.
4--Use of public road & property must be prohibited for individual use.
5--Encroachment must be checked immediately by local authorities. Even temporary occupation of public land by any one even for religious purpose should be checked.
6--Commoners should be encouraged to inform all irregularities to responsible authorities.
7--Beggars are shame for our nation. No beggars should be allowed to beg on the road. Government is responsible to take care of them and they should be discouraged for begging.
All cattle owners must be heavily fined, if any cattle is found on the roads. These stray cattle are big source of accidents.

Thinking For Future.
Ramkrishna Paramhans says that we do our duties according to our religious scriptures in a broader sense and leave rest on God. In this way we can remain free from tension. Our happiness can be restored.
Now it is high time that every parent must learn that they are playing with fire, if they push their kids in mental preasure. They have to learn as to how give them strenth, so that they can prepare themselves for the struggle of life. Our young generation needs strong support from seniors. We do not let them break in their tender age. So please be satisfied with present and be happy.

Indian Police Force.
First of all numbers of police-personals should be increased according to population.
Their salaries should be increased to the comfortable level.
They shouldn't be under politicians' control.
An intelligence body should be formed to watch their activities.
Honest persons should be recruited in this force.
Regular monitoring should be conducted in this department.
Reward & punishment rule will be helpful in increasing their efficiency.
Honesty & public opinion should be prior criteria for promotion.
Police must be accountable to public.
In the last I say that children & honest citizens must be free from police terror.
